Suzuki has given the Gixxer a chunky telescopic fork and a mono shock to handle suspension duties, both of which are set on the firmer side. There are no changes to the foundation of the highly agile Gixxer. Suzuki has stuck to a five-speed transmission for the Gixxer. The BS6 motor now makes 13.6PS at 8000rpm and 13.8Nm at 6000rpm, 0.5PS and 0.2Nm lower than before. The BS6 Suzuki Gixxer is powered by the same old 155cc single-cylinder air-cooled fuel-injected engine that you found on the BS4 bike. The new console has a slimmer font, giving it a less cluttered look. The Gixxer gets a full-digital instrument cluster, which is slightly different from the first-gen model. The Suzuki Gixxer 155 had received a facelift last year with the Japanese manufacturer kitting the bike with LED headlight and tail lamp. ![]() Suzuki is not offering too many new features on the BS6 Gixxer. When the BS6-compliant iteration was launched, it was a whopping Rs 11,688 dearer than the BS4 Suzuki Gixxer. The BS6 Suzuki Gixxer’s price is set at Rs 1,16,700 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Suzuki Gixxer 155 is available in a single variant. ![]() The Suzuki Gixxer is the company’s most affordable motorcycle. The Gixxer remains one of the costliest bikes in the segment. It now retails for Rs 1,18,800 (ex-showroom Delhi). July onwards, the asking price of the Suzuki Gixxer has been increased by Rs 2,100. ![]()
